By using the Site or booking a cabin, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who We Are
Alaska Homestead Roadhouse is a small, family-run lodging business located at 1404 Alaska Highway, Delta Junction, AK 99737, United States. We operate eight rustic cabins, a trading post, and a gas station, and offer reindeer experiences. We are the data controller for any personal information you provide through this Site.

When you contact us by phone, email, or through our booking system, you may share:

- Number of guests, pets, and dates of stay

4. Who We Share Information With
We share your information only with trusted service providers who help us run the business, and only to the extent necessary:
- Hospitable.com — our booking and property management platform. When you book through the widget on our cabin pages, your reservation details and contact info go to Hospitable so they can manage availability, send confirmations, and process payments. See Hospitable's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe — our payment processor. Card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Google (Tag Manager & Analytics) — for understanding website traffic and improving the Site. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Airbnb — if you booked us through Airbnb, we receive your information through their platform per their privacy terms.
- Government or law enforcement — if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our guests or others.
We do not share your personal information with marketers, data brokers, or third-party advertisers.
5. Cookies & Tracking
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and to measure traffic. The main categories:
- Essential cookies — required for the booking widget to function. These cannot be turned off.
- Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager. They count visits, track which pages are popular, and help us improve the Site. They do not personally identify you to us.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, though parts of the Site (like the booking widget) may not work properly if you disable them. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
6. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your reservation information for as long as needed to provide the service and to comply with tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping requirements (typically 7 years for financial records under U.S. law). After that, we delete or anonymize it. Marketing-related contact information is kept until you ask us to remove it.
7. How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect your information. The Site is served over HTTPS. Payment data is handled by PCI-compliant Stripe and never touches our servers. Booking data lives in Hospitable's encrypted systems. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we may have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Your Rights
If you are a California resident
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal record-keeping exceptions)

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. The legal basis we rely on is generally (a) performance of your booking contract, (b) our legitimate interest in running the business, or (c) your consent for analytics cookies.

10. International Visitors
